This black 28 cm Staub frying pan is, with the exception of the wooden handle, made of solid cast iron. Cast iron is known to retain heat excellently and to distribute this heat gradually and evenly. Once hot you can lower the heat. The reverse also applies, the pan also remains cool longer. As such you could also keep your dishes cool outside the refrigerator on a hot summer's day. These properties make cast iron pans perfect for cooking and frying. The wooden handle of the pan provides a nice contrast with the cast iron and makes it less heavy than a pan with a cast iron handle.
Perfect for high temperature frying and searing for wonderfully caramelised flavours when frying steak. The pan can also be used to fry other food like chicken and vegetables, and to brown French toast. The matte black enamel surface acts like a micro-grill and helps to develop flavour. It is scratch resistant and easy to clean. The pan can be used on induction, gas, electric and all other heat sources. It should be cleaned by hand with a soft cloth and dish soap, rinsed and dried. The wooden handle remains cool to the touch and has a flame guard to help prevent discolouration from a gas flame. Our delivery charges vary from region to region. For instance, we provide free postage to Peninsular (SM), but for Sabah and Sarawak (SS) and Labuan, there will be specific charges according to the quantity and weight of the products. If your order was from ready stock, we will dispatch your order within 2/3 working days after you have settled your payment in full. If your order was from UK stock or In Transit stock, you will have to wait until your order arrives in Malaysia. When your order is ready, you will receive an SMS or email notification about the arrival of your product. If you have any payment balance/ order dues remaining, you will need to settle the balance in full within agreed 90 days/ 180 days timeframe, so that we can package and send the product to your delivery address. After we receive your payment, we will dispatch your order. If you have already settled your order payment, you can ignore this message. Please note that, you will receive an SMS or email notification containing the Tracking Number after your order is dispatched.
