The cabbage- and lettuce-leaf series of rustic glazed earthenware, created by Portuguese artist Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro in the early 20th century, contains some of the company’s best-known and most cherished pieces of tableware. This bowl is cast in traditional moulds and glazed by hand in Portugal, with a beautifully textured surface.

With its rich green, beautifully glazed finish and detailed textured surface this eye-catching range is sure to be the talking point around your table. Part of the kitchenware range designed by renowned Portuguese artist, Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro, the cabbage is a symbol of rural life as it is found in every kitchen garden across Portugal and is a national dish in the form of Caldo Verde, a cabbage soup.

The cabbage tableware trend is seeing something of a revival. In the 1960s a full cabbage tableware set was the mark of a high-society household. Many pieces were highly collectible including Bordallo Pinheiro’s iconic cabbage range. Now these hand-painted earthenware plates, bowls and dishes are back and taking the world by storm.

Our delivery charges vary from region to region. For instance, we provide free postage to Peninsular (SM), but for Sabah and Sarawak (SS) and Labuan, there will be specific charges according to the quantity and weight of the products. If your order was from ready stock, we will dispatch your order within 2/3 working days after you have settled your payment in full. If your order was from UK stock or In Transit stock, you will have to wait until your order arrives in Malaysia. When your order is ready, you will receive an SMS or email notification about the arrival of your product. If you have any payment balance/ order dues remaining, you will need to settle the balance in full within agreed 90 days/ 180 days timeframe, so that we can package and send the product to your delivery address.
