STAUB’s history begins with its classic cocotte, a cast iron kitchen favourite used to cook tender food full of flavour. Designed by Francis Staub in 1974, the cocotte is loved for its timeless design updated with the latest innovations in cookware manufacturing. It’s perfect for stewed dishes and versatile enough to use for baking bread. The self-basting system under the lid ensures a continuous circulation of moisture for natural basting. The STAUB cocotte retains 10% more moisture during the cooking process than competitors’ pots do. The 24cm Grenadine round cast iron cocotte is ideal for cooking one-pot dishes, from roasts and stews to soups, risotto and baking bread, then serving to guests at the dining table. The cast iron construction retains heat, keeping second helpings piping hot.
Even heat distribution
Gently prepare aromatic stewed dishes, thanks to the cocotte’s superior
even heat distribution. Cast iron is a carbon-rich iron alloy and so is
exceptional at retaining heat, diffusing it slowly and distributing it
evenly. Once cast iron is hot, you can turn the heat down to a minimum
for gentle simmering and to reduce energy consumption. Cast iron also
retains cold: refrigerate before serving and your cast iron product will
remain cool at the table.
Self-basting lid structure
Very little oil is required for cooking and only a little water for
steaming, which helps intensify nutrients and flavours and makes for
healthier meals. The flat lid has a specially contoured underside to
promote continuous dripping of moisture onto the entire food cooking.
The Staub lid distributes moisture nine times more effectively than
conventional lids, resulting in optimum flavours and juicy cooking
results.
Versatile use
Cook stews in the cocotte, sear, try slow-cooked dishes and even bake
bread. It can be used on all types of hobs, including induction, and is
heat-resistant in the oven up to 250°C. Not suitable for the microwave
or dishwasher.

Our delivery charges vary from region to region. For instance, we provide free postage to Peninsular (SM), but for Sabah and Sarawak (SS) and Labuan, there will be specific charges according to the quantity and weight of the products. If your order was from ready stock, we will dispatch your order within 2/3 working days after you have settled your payment in full. If your order was from UK stock or In Transit stock, you will have to wait until your order arrives in Malaysia. When your order is ready, you will receive an SMS or email notification about the arrival of your product. If you have any payment balance/ order dues remaining, you will need to settle the balance in full within agreed 90 days/ 180 days timeframe, so that we can package and send the product to your delivery address. After we receive your payment, we will dispatch your order. If you have already settled your order payment, you can ignore this message.
